Classic Lounge Collective is a group of 7 musicians: string quartet plus bass, percussion and keys. We write and perform original pieces based on classical repertoire - really drawing on the elegance and passion of the string sound and combining it with beats, grooves and harmonies that bring a whole new dimension.

The concept of the group is perfect for live music for many different kinds of occasions. For example, we’ve played background music for a Toyota event, we were an integral part of the opening ceremony for the Heineken museum and we’ve been centre stage at the Tijdloos festival.

All of us have a lot of theatrical experience and the visual imagery of the group is very important. We pay a lot of attention to the staging, lighting and look of the performance, as well as the musical composition of the sets. The aim is to produce an all-encompassing feel-good experience.
